Features two bust portraits: Emperor Nicholas II in the uniform of a Colonel of the 4th Infantry Life Guards Imperial Family Regiment, and Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich, founder of the Romanov dynasty, wearing the Monomakh’s Cap (a symbol of Russian autocracy).
Reverse:
Bears a horizontal inscription in five lines: (Translation: “In memory of the 300th anniversary of the reign of the House of Romanov – 1613-1913”)
Adorned with an ornamental pattern of alternating lines and dots, a common decorative motif on imperial Russian medals.
